"Filling in the blanks" is a work about conditions we feel in psychological, physical and social terms. Using the elements I found an old tapas bar "Pikulece" in Split. I built my own space that was open to all, just at the time when the Covid lockdown in Croatia started. I had abandoned space for work, which was renamed the open /air studio, all the things found there were used as artistic elements. From a strained system, a system that does not adapt to man and his needs. I believe it is clear to all of us that things need to be networked and that they cannot be managed through one channel and that culture is a necessity, and if you wish, a unique filter or membrane for everything around us.
